Just back from movie at PS.. Went to catch Lake House with my block mates. Hah what bad influence. I was supposed to do my own work tonight. And they had to call me along!!

Last night was Project X @ Zouk. The Union Pageant preview. OK la it was quite interesting since I've nv done anything like this b4... like walking down the runway for pple to judge you based just on your looks.

1 more week to Union Ball and the dance is not even completed yet... Gosh

I've alr skipped 2 lectures.. all due to fatigue.. haha thank god there's webcast

I seriously need time for myself.. to just sit down over a cup of coffee and think about what I should be doing for myself..

this is the life

Well I'm right smack in the middle of O-week in school, and settling well into hall life. There're just too many other activities.. rag n flag, engin o-week, pageant pract.

I can't believe how much excitement I felt on flag day on Tues. Though it's been a long while since I did flag.. this time was just different. Though tiring, me and my blockmate Gerlynn were just too up for it. Self-motivation is the best motivation I think.. We seriously knew how to enjoy and give ourselves incentives for all that hard work. And I still can't believe I convinced someone to donate 50 bucks... =) It's just seriously how much you want it. That was my "aim" for flag day and I did it.. lol

To think that I still managed to throw in my last bit of energy at Zouk that night... haha. Was gr8 fun meeting up with my Crumpler colleagues.. or should I say ex-colleagues.. World DJ Championships was held there.. and Crumpler was one of the co-sponsors. And seriously I still can't actualise what happened with Jannah.. ;)

I've finally squeezed out some time here..

When I'm supposed to be actually at Sheares Welcome Orientation Camp. Then there's pageant training in the evening, recording at night, interview tmr. This is killing me... argh! I've just matriculated yesterday, and so now all tt bidding for modules and stuff is taking place.

I want to settle into hall quickly.. cuz since most activities are in school, it'll be better la. And I'm drowning in a pool of overloaded information..

Firstly, whoever the **** was tt who posted the comment on the last entry. THANK YOU. I'd so love to be you friend.

This blog seems to be slowly evaporating..and I haven't really had time for myself this past month. Routines, events, and the thoughts and emotions that accompany it all take place too fast.. Too fast for me to even catch up with what's going on.

I really think I should start to slow things down a bit, since school will be starting in about a weeks' time. Hah but it's been too much fun this month esp. Too many pleasurable things in life, need to balance it off with hard work haha.

I'm really glad that Regina and I are now FINALLY on gd terms=) had a really gd chat with her just the other day.

Next week is gonna be hell busy for me, there's shifting in to hall, and hall orientation, matriculation, as well as union ball activities to see to. ARGH!

Yes I know.. it's been 2 blardy weeks since I last blogged. Thanks to Sports Camp from 3rd to 8th and Union Camp from 11th to 15th. A hell lot has happened since then yea.. Sports Camp was really havoc.. nv expected my OG to be so crazy. I think we were probably the most closely knitted OG, like on the 3rd or 4th night everyone in the OG including councillors gathered in my room to talk cock .. until 5 in the morning la! and the next day it was amazing race (the finale), after which was night cycling from ECP back to NUS. Throughout the 6 days I really got to play a lot of sports.. which is really gd, so at least I can have a rough taste of what sports to take up in NUS=)

Haha shall not disclose some other details of sports camp which was really embarassing yet funny.. like just in case the right pple end up reading the wrong stuff. haha but yea... the forfeits are really damn funny la... interesting haha.

After having gone for Sports Camp, and being a lil more warmed up to the envt. in NUS, the stupid cheers, and all that ice breakers, Union Camp was much more comfortable. So much more to the extent, pple started asking me if I was a councillor on the very first day. Haha a bit of getting too much unwanted attn la. Union Camp is massive.. the strength is like thrice that of Sports Camp. 1 OG = 24 pple as compared to sports camp 1 OG = 11 pple. Nevertheless the SP game was really irritating la.. haha won't elaborate about it. But in Union Camp I met more pple all over... in my OG, in other OGs... etc. haha Si Qian, Ervin, and Kevin from Sports Camp plus a lot more others were at Union Camp also. Haha we're all ONE BIG FAMILY... haha and we left Union Camp on Wed to go for Sports Camp reunion @ Zouk. haha it was real nice meeting the Vampyres once again! extremely fun bunch of pple to hang out with... minus the suanning.

The camp ended on a gd note. Was so tired on Sat but still had the Marine Cove gig to play. Argh... almost died there la. Met Yiqing there as well, cuz she was having a bbq so she dropped by to watch the band play =)

Haha not to forget it was BAYBEATS weekend!.. Didn't see much on Sat la. More on Sunday.. just Electrico and Lunarin.

And seriously speaking, I was shortlisted for the Union Ball Pageant... haha what a joke right.
And I keep on getting weird comments, opinions and questions from the freshies and councillors.. like how "I don't sound Singaporean" and "I don't look Chinese" and "I don't look like a freshie" .. haha its exciting to know how pple think

And just today at work this female colleague of mine said "erm why aren't u attached? I thought all good looking guys have girlfriends" and "are you a model?" haha yes I know very bhb of me. haha but i'm just quoting.

Anw.. there's really so much to add la. Photos esp. I'm alr struggling and lost trying to arrange all those pictures that've been taken over the past 2 weeks. Hopefully I'll get a hold of it soon. Till then... I really need to catch up on my sleep

Milk Run 06 is THE UPS!

Took part in MILK run this afternoon.. it's a youth day celebration run for charity. Ran the 8.4km competitive. Haha. Start pt and end pt both at Zouk. Steady la. It's shaggedelic man. Firstly cuz I haven't ran more than 5km in a long while, secondly.. err haha didn't sleep much. No 7 hours of sleep leh. LMAO. Anw I went with JS, haha obviously I didn't run the whole thing with him la. Only saw him for the first few 100ms of the run. After that he disappeared alr. Think I came in a gd 10 mins after him man... lol still dunno what's the official timing. It was a gd run anw=)

Rest of the day before that the band went to Little India, Zouk and the skatepark at Somerset to take band pics. Woah seriously.. the pics were goooooood. Think its the camera la. Not us. haha but we dressed up a bit also. And we were DUA-ED by the photographers la.. nv turn up la.. well at least we still did sth la... so its ok;)

Saturday was kinda wasted.. woke up and rushed all over the place la... First to Tiong Bahru to collect runner's kit for MILKrun, then to town to register for sports camp.. haha and I met Jiang who's going too.. gr8 thing. at least I know someone who's gg wit me. Then had a really gd session of badminton b4 heading down to Ashik's bday @ DTE Costa Sands. SERiously lost my way la.. went to the wrong Costa Sands. Well and I didn't make it down to Zouk in time for Brit Rock.. so I happily pang-seh-ed my Crumpler colleagues and Tom. but what to do... watched Eng vs. Portugal instead at a pub at Pasir Panjang with YQ and Hans. Night before, on Friday, I caught Argentina vs. Germany. Haha all of em had to end up in penalty shootouts. How uninteresting man..

Gonna be away at NUS for sports camp the next 6 days... till Sat. Yea I know its really long la.. hah but who cares.. I'm gonna have fun la=)

Right now I'm playing Electrico's new album Hip City like everyday. haha stuck on it la.

It's Friday alr. Very fast man. Schedule at Crumpler this week isn't too bad.. just 1 3 5. haha but I went back on Tues to pay back hours cuz I came in 2 hours late on Monday. Yea Calyn knows why I went to work late on Monday la.. haha ;)

Seriously didn't do much this week. But I've now got myself addicted to Sudoku. Wah thanks to the book that was underneath the cashier at Crumpler la. Then I met Tamar on Wed night for supper at Chomp Chomp Serangoon. It was pretty late at night la.. hah but at least it isn't far. Went to NYP this afternoon for lunch with Mum.. *ahem.. ya.. its somewhat nostalgic. And after so long she actually coincidentally asked me abt the person who studies there. "How's so and so ah?.. Why so long nv see her alr ah?" Just couldn't bring myself to say much about it la.

Anw I went to UHWC at NUS after that for the medical checkup that took the entire afternoon.. but good thing I met an old friend Guanyou over there. Then there were the CAC pple who came up to us to ask us to go for camps etc.. haha seriously la.. what a gd opportunity to catch the freshies - AT THE MEDICAL CHECKUP!

And the evening was pretty wasted... at MFG office. The band met up with the photographers who were going to do our press kit. But we seriously had no idea what we wanted to do man. Unproductive la.

Gonna be a hectic weekend =(
